Musicians are asked to fill out the Member Information form (below) so we have your correct contact information.  ​

 

Members will also be asked to review and  acknowledge the Meridian Symphony Orchestra Artistic Policy.  Updates are being made to the policy and will be available in September.

Complete the above form to notify your Section Leader, Personnel Manager, and  Artistic Director that you will be missing a rehearsal or performance. 

​

Please contact your section leader directly if this form is completed less than 24 hours in advance of the rehearsal you are missing.

Requesting Comp Tickets: 

 

Complimentary tickets for immediate  family members may be requested for each concert.

Comp ticket holders must arrive at least 20 minutes before the concert start time to ensure that enough seats are available for them as well as paying ticket holders.  Anyone arriving later than 7:10 may be asked to wait to be seated to ensure seats are available.

Rehearsals:

 

  • ​Day and Time:  Rehearsals are held each Monday from 7:00 to 9:15 pm, during the  performance season

  • Rehearsal Location for 2025/26 Season:  Meridian High School band Room at 1900 W Pine in Meridian.

Rehearsal Schedule for November 1st Concert:

  • August 25

  • No rehearsal 9/1 (Labor Day)

  • September 8

  • September 15

  • September 22

  • September 29

  • October 6

  • October 13

  • October 20

  • October 27

  • November 1 Dress Rehearsal at 10 a.m.

  • November 1 Concert at 7:30 p.m.

  • Concert #1 – November 1 @ Centennial High School

  • Concert #2 – December 13 & 14 @ Meridian High School (Saturday evening/Sunday afternoon)

  • Concert #3 – February 28 @ Meridian High School

  • Concert #4 – May 2 @ Meridian High School

  • Kleiner Concert  – June 13 @ Kleiner Park (NOTE: This concert is tentative)​

Volunteer Needs:​

 

As a volunteer organization, the MSO is grateful to patrons and family members of our musicians who volunteer in many areas.  Please consider using your time and experience to assist the Symphony. in one of these, or another area.

​​​​

Concert Setup and Tear Down:  Additional volunteers are needed to help the orchestra members setup and/or tear down each concert day..  Family members or friends of the orchestra are welcome to assist.  Contact the MSO Personnel Manager for details..

​​​

Concert  Days/Front of House:  Contact board member, Annette Matlock, to help with the lobby before concerts.  Volunteers are  needed to sell tickets, take tickets at the door, hand out programs, and direct attendees as they arrive and are seated.
